Deafness relief camps

What is the Deafness relief camp of RID 3160?

Why deafness relief?

What suergeries are performed?

Myringoplasty, Tympanoplasty, Mastoidectomy, Stapedotomy and atresioplasty surgeries are performed during this camp. However, for deserving poor and needy patients recommended by clubs other major ear surgeries like Microtia reconstruction, Endolymphatic sac decompression, Labyrinthectomy, Facial nerve decompression surgeries are also performed.

What are the complications of these surgeries?

What is the cost of these surgeries?

Average cost of Each Surgery is Rs. 600/-. Either clubs can sponsor this or find some philanthropist who can sponsor this.

Who can conduct these camps?

Any Rotary Club in the world can conduct this camp. However, since we have limited time and resources, we will provide opportunity to the clubs on "first come and first served basis". The Rotary Clubs in other countries and other districts should obtain the appointment atleast 12 - 16 weeks in advance.
