Sunday, November 18, 2007 4:44 PM Prahlad, Good day Ist congratulations on organizing the great course . My all prays to the success of this event. I have gone through yours CDs. I am just speechless.Apart from a minor comment about your great hand obstructing the view of surgical field some time , they are all excellent. Lots of new things observed. 1. The type of burr head(the conical one) seems to make bone drilling effortless. I need some details about it. 2. Excising the whole annular fibrous ring seems to be logical, but as you know Ugo Fisch avoids it at 2 to 4 o clock position. But your results speaks for it. 3. You are in favor of doing cortical mastoidectomy even in inactive non cholesteatomous disease. I am a bit confused at this point.I acquired concept of doing repair of the drum when the ear is dry for prolonged period of time. Any way my very little experience, I am again convinced of your philosophy as redo surgeries are usually is not an acceptable to the patient 4. Your CD 11 steps, is really a motivational. Yours word ( A PATIENT CAN LIVE WITHOUT A DOCTOR BUT DOCTOR CAN"T WITHOUT PATIENT ) are continuously vibrating in mind. Congratulations, Dr. Khalid Hussain Mahida Dear Dr.Prahlad, Hello. Hope u remember our meeting at Hyderabad. After having seen those 4 cds purchased at hyderabad I,Congratulate u for preparing informative & useful cds on ear surgery.
