"Education" is one of the motto of Karnataka ENT Hospital and Research Center and therefore we have been conducting Short term and Long term training programs in various fields of Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery and Skull Base Surgery, for Junior as well as Senior ENT colleauges through out the year on mutually convenient days. Our objective of these program is to enable our ENT colleagues to have Hands-on experience under constant supervision and guidance of experienced surgeons. Some of these programs also include cadaver dissection in association with Dept. of Anatomy, Basaveshwara Medical College and Hospital. These programs are two-way interactive programs where we encourage the participants to engage in active discussion in the chosen field of their training. Other than training, participants also have access to our library and a large collections of books. We have state-of-the-art audio-visual systems and participants can view our collections of Educational VHS/VCD/DVDs of home production as well as from other eminent surgeons. Participants can also record their surgeries on DVD and carry to assess their performance and do a SWOT analysis. Click this link to learn about Surgical SWOT analysis. My residence is right above the hospital and participants are requested to have breakfast with us at Dr. Prahlad's home everyday to give the training programs a warm and personal touch! We provide free accommodation (Furnished bachelor accommodation) for both short-term as well as long-term participants. However, for the paricipants who wish to stay in a Hotel, Chitradurga city's best hotel Aishwarya Fort is only 500 meters walk-able distance away. International participants: Require Registration with Medical Council of India. Chitradurga is a safe city with almost zero crime rate. Our Hospital is right infront of Superintendent of Police office. Adding to that Dr. Prahlada N.B is District Commandant of Home of Guards and Civil Defence unit of Chitradurga District.
