You are here: Home > Education >> Hands-on Training Programs >>> Short-term traning programs in Otology. Program overview Earlier we had Rotary Otology Fellowship Program, through which we trained more than 30 surgeons from various parts of India as well as a surgeon from Zimbabwe, totally free of cost. Due to shortage of funds, In Jan'2006, we started self financed Short Term Otology Fellowship program lasting from 2 - 4 weeks, which includes Temporal Bone dissection. We are happy to say that in 2006, we were able to train 14 surgeons from various parts of the country, who are now successfully performing Otologic surgeries on their own. We had realized that nobody can learn any surgery in one day. And we believe in Japanese management system of "Kaizen" i.e., Systematic progressive improvement everyday. Therefore, we offer a graded learning system. From Jan'2007 onwards candidates will have opportunity to operate under Indian Microscopes as well Carl Zeiss -Movena model Microscope with Varioscope and Xenon light source. Other than Otologic surgeries, all other ENT, Head & Neck, Facial Plastic and Skull Base Surgeries are being performed in our center on daily basis and the candidates will have an unique opportunity to observe and learn other surgeries also. Another added advantage will be an opportunity for over-all personality development, time management, practice management and networking skills. Free bachelor/family accommodation will be provided.
